More Breast Cancer Information...Breast cancer is a malignant tumor that usually forms in the cells that line the ducts, while others form in the lobules, and the rest in other tissue. While women are mostly afflicted, men may get it as well. Women in the early-stage usually do not feel pain, but some possible symptoms of may include changes in how the nipple feels and looks, tenderness, discharge, and the nipple turning inward. These symptoms could indicate other health problems as well. However, a woman should see her physician for more breast cancer information if she feels any pain or experiences any of the above symptoms. Testing may include - a mammogram
- ultrasound
- magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
- and/or biopsy
Other noninvasive and invasive tests are done to determine if the tumor has spread to other parts of your body. Treatment options may include: - surgery (such as lumpectomy, mastectomy, and lymph node dissection)
- radiation therapy
- targeted therapies
- hormonal therapy
- and chemotherapy
Now...that being said...it has been shown in laboratory testing that tumors cannot survive in an oxygen-rich environment. Some women have experienced benefits by using certain products to assist in their search for health.

Being Fit can help prevent Breast Cancer...Science long ago proved that fitness is one of the best deterrents to disease and can contribute to living a long healthy life. A new study by researchers from the University of South Carolina confirmed previous work that suggested exercise could reduce the risk of breast cancer. The group studied 14,000 women aged 20 through 83 with no history of breast cancer. They classified the women’s aerobic fitness from treadmill tests performed with other medical exams at the Cooper Clinic in Houston from 1970 to 2001. The participants were rated as low, moderate or highly fit depending on the results. The study found that women in poor physical condition were three times more likely to die from breast cancer than those who exercise regularly. Dr. Steve Blair, a USC researcher and a past president of the American College of Sports Medicine said “Women in the study’s lowest fitness category were nearly three times more likely to die from cancer than women in the most fit group.” Blair also said “Finding a strong association between fitness, which can be improved by a relatively inexpensive lifestyle intervention of regular physical activity, such as walking, is exciting.” Moderate fitness can be reached by exercising about 150 minutes per week, and that doesn’t mean 2.5 hours on the treadmill, it means any activity that gets you moving: - gardening
- housework
- or walking the dog
High fitness requires about 300 minutes per week. The exercise not only will:- reduce the risk of cancer according to the study
- will help lower cholesterol levels and blood pressure
- reduces the risk of heart disease and diabetes
Blair thinks that there are biological mechanisms not presently understood concerning exercise and health. He believes that cells and arteries react differently with exercise, not only lowering the risk of breast cancer but other illnesses including chronic diseases.A study reported in October 2008 by WebMD reported that post menopausal women of normal weight who exercised “vigorously” had a lower risk of breast cancer than their overweight or obese counter parts. In May 2008 a similar study indicated that women who exercised regularly from age 12 through 42 had a much lower rate of breast cancer later in life. A woman’s normal hormones of estrogens and progesterone are necessary for female reproductive and overall health, but they also stimulate breast cells to proliferate creating genetic mutations and increasing the possibility of the formation of tumors. Moderate, regular exercise when young will help control weight, as well as the production of hormones, reducing the risk of cancer later. Exercise not only helps healthy individuals, but a 2005 study reported that patients already diagnosed with breast cancer had a better chance of survival when they exercised regularly. The lesson here is short and clear... there are many risks for breast cancer a person cannot change, but exercising could be the biggest factor in reducing risk. Take this breast cancer information to heart, try to avoid disease... and live long and prosper.

Author: Mary Starnes 2006-11-02 "On January 4, 2006 I was diagnosed with recurrent breast cancer that had spread to my lungs and my sternum. I was in absolute constant pain and had been diagnosed for months with 'inflammation of the chest wall.' I was released from the hospital on the 6th and was to stay out of work another week. I ordered oils listed in the Essential Oils Desk Reference for breast cancer (see breast cancer information), lung cancer, and bone cancer and the supplements listed. I had been in agony all week. I could not even lift my arms. I received the oils on the following Friday and began applying them over my chest wall, breasts, and along the insides of both arms. By Monday my pain was totally gone. I have been ingesting the oils, different ones daily, and taking my supplements religiously. My most recent PET scan showed the tumors in my chest wall and lungs had decreased. I am still without pain and am functioning so well, that if no one knows about my cancer, they would never be able to tell. I am not taking chemo nor will I take it. There has been no mention of any surgery from my MD. I do take a 'hormone' pill that I am given but that is the only treatment provided by my doctor. In fact he says whatever it is I am doing to keep it up. I believe with all my heart that I am taking God's medicines and that is where my healing begins."
Author: Loretta Skrzypek 2007-07-01"In 2004 I was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer. I received chemotherapy, had a mastectomy which included removing 5 lymph nodes and then received radiation (Good results – cancer did not spread and I am now cancer free). Because I received all of these treatments, I was informed that I was at risk to develop lymph-edema. In February of 2007 (after flying on a plane) I noticed that my arm and hand had started to swell. I went to my doctor for breast cancer information and he informed me that I had lymph-edema and he recommended that I start physical therapy to reduce and maintain the swelling in the arm and hand. I started physical therapy on March 13, 2007, which included learning how to perform a lymphatic massage and wrapping bandages on my fingers and arm for compression. Before wrapping my arm I had to use an antibacterial cream to ward off any bacteria that could possibly grow under the bandages causing infection in the arm. The chemical based antibacterial cream recommended by the Physical Therapist (PT) made my arm dry and itchy therefore I researched the oils to see what I could use instead. I felt that Fennel oil would be a good selection since it helps break up toxins and fluid in tissue combined with Melrose, which has antibacterial properties. Since I did not have Fennel oil on hand I looked through the oils I had and found that Juvaflex contained fennel oil so I started using the Juvaflex with the Melrose. I applied the oils on my arm and hand in the morning and at night. My PT was amazed at how fast my arm and hand swelling was greatly reduced. After the 10th physical therapy appointment my PT stated that the swelling is being successfully maintained and no further appointment is necessary. Have to mention that I flew in a plane the week before my last physical therapy appointment and my PT stated that she expected my arm/hand to be swollen from the flight but it was not. I also have to mention that I received another benefit by using Juvaflex. A prior blood test I had for fatty liver resulted in 48 on the medical scale (good range between 14–36). After using Juvaflex for only a month I had another blood test and the result was 32 (brought it down 16 point). I also boosted my intake of Ningxia Red from 1 ounce to 2 ounces a day. I NEVER GO ONE DAY WITHOUT MY YOUNG LIVING OILS AND NINGXIA RED! Juvaflex is a blend of Geranium, Rosemary, Roman Chamomile, Fennel, Helichrysum, Blue Tansy and carrier oils is Sesame seed oil. Melrose is a blend of Melaleuca, Naouli, Rosemary, Clove."

Author: Dorothy Littrell 2005-11-24 "Three weeks ago a mammogram showed irregular calcium deposits in my right breast. The radiologist put great pressure on me to have a biopsy done immediately. I elected not to do the biopsy because it is so radical. I had blood drawn for the AMAS test for antibodies that detects cancer, 19 months before a biopsy, and sent it off overnight in dry ice to Oncolab in Boston. I started the regimen shown in the Essential Oils Desk Reference to deter cancer (see breast cancer information). I take 6 drops of Frankincense, 4 drops Ledum with Almond Oil in a 00 capsule daily. I rub Frankincense daily over the three middle toes on each foot. I rub 16 drops Frankincense, 12 drops Lavender and 3 drops Clove into each breast for 4 days and leave it off for 4 days. I have started Alkalime to get my Ph balance more Alkaline. I have started 10 drops of liquid mineral essence under my tongue each morning. I have had a lymphatic massage each week. The change in my breast tissue has been astounding. The thick tissue has softened with only a small hard area left. There has been no pain. I expect to go over the blood test results with my internist on Monday. I am lucky because he goes along with my alternative approach in lieu of a biopsy. I have started meditation and visualization. I am feeling great. I will not go through radiation or chemotherapy."
Author: Cathy Battle 2008-01-27"After every shower, I anoint my breasts with Frankincense essential oil - just a couple of drops each will do, to prevent tumors. I can't say for sure, but I have a history of lumps (not cancerous) and I believe they have become fewer and farther between since I've been using Frankincense. I love the aroma, too! Best breast cancer information I've seen so far..."
Author: Pam Jones 2006-11-30In November, 2004 I was diagnosed with Infiltrating Ductal carcinoma #3 - a 2.6 cm lump was removed along with 6 lymph nodes. All margins and nodes were clear. I chose to go to a Clinic to get breast cancer information and for my continued health and well being. I spent 13 days there seeking all the therapies they had. It was a truly wonderful experience, the staff was fabulous. They were truly dedicated to healing naturally. There were people from many states and a few countries there for various issues. Now here it is 2 years later, (I am still getting my checkups) and all is well. No breast cancer! I wouldn't trade my experience at the clinic for anything. Because I chose health, I can continue to practice Massage Therapy, operate my own business, help others to feel better and heal. I use only Young Living oils in my practice because they work. The many techniques and therapies I offer are all enhanced by Young Living Essential Oils exclusively. I was taught the 'Dallas Raindrop & Vita Flex Method' and continue to utilize that method. In 2007 I am planning to teach community education classes in my area. I have taught in other states in the past and really love seeing the difference these oils make in the lives of individuals. The basic protocol for breast cancer is in the Essential Oil Desk Reference (Breast Cancer Information). Yes there are other things that were available at the Clinic such as acupuncture with oils, colon hydrotherapy with oils, IV therapies, emotional healing with oils, juices and WONDERFUL FOOD. I had total confidence in the treatments there. I hope that there will be another clinic situation soon for those who will benefit in the future. I am available to share my experience with you via email." Pam Jones LMTReiki M-TIET M-T
Author: Tom Smoots 2006-06-07"I had a fibroid in my breast the size of a small Easter egg. I rubbed in 1 drop of Young Living frankincense oil most days for about 6 months. In about 4 months the fibroid shrunk to the size of a jelly bean. Now it is half that size. I hadn't made any other changes in my diet or lifestyle for many months before my fibroid started to shrink. Thanks for the breast cancer information Bill!"
